2022 was a challenging year for many as we were recovering from the COVID-19 situation but we faced high inflation which continued to impact our personal lives as well as businesses. With the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) hike and raising cost of living amid uncertain global economic outlook, 2023 will be a year of uncertainties.
This past year, Sompo Singapore had remained firm in our commitment to adopt disciplined execution of business plans and strengthen business partnerships in support of our mission to build a sustainable business model to benefit all stakeholders. We are confident that we can weather through the new challenges ahead together with you guided by our proven approach of sustainability, disciplined execution and great business partnerships.
In this new year, we hope to be the preferred insurance company which our partners want to work with. To recognise the support from our partners, we had resumed our agent incentive trip campaign last year and the long-awaited trip will be happening in April this year. For the 2023 campaign, the qualifying criteria have been simplified to encourage more agents to qualify for next year’s trip to Korea.

Our Agent Incentive Trip Campaign is back with a simplified set of criteria!
Running from 26 Dec 2022 till 25 Dec 2023, top achievers who meet the minimum criteria will be incentivised with a specially curated trip to Korea in 2024. In addition, you may be doubly reward with 2 seats if you meet both criteria!

To cater to the evolving needs of customers and offer them more flexibility in their motor insurance coverage, we have improved our Private Car product structure with effect from 23 Nov 2022.
The new improved Private Car insurance now allow customers to select Optional Covers on top of the standard coverage, making it more affordable. The 3 optional covers are:
- No Claim Discount Protector
- Loss of Use
- Waiver of standard Policy Excess
